The Elmore Park Middle School band program consists of approximately 160 members in grades six through eight. Elmore Park has several different performing instrumental ensembles, including the Sixth Grade Beginning Band, Seventh and Eighth Grade Band, Marching Eagle Band, and Concert Band. The Marching Band performs in several local parades and contests.

This year the Marching Band will possibly perform in the Veteran's Day Parade, the Bartlett Christmas Parade, and another holiday parade. Last year, the band, drum majors, and the guard placed in the top three at the Bartlett Christmas Parade. The Concert Band performs in the spring for Concert Festivaland other performances. Last year the Concert band received an overall Superior rating in performance and an Excellent sight-reading. This group has also performed at additional concerts including with the Bartlett Community Band Concert.

All band members also participate in a holiday concert in December and spring concert, in April.

Students are required to furnish their own instruments. Students are expected to practice daily in order to develop their skills and grow as a musician. Students are expected to attend all performances as part of their grade. Through pride, practice, and performance, the students can truly enjoy the rewarding experience of band and music, thus enhancing their musical skills through performances for our school and the community.
